So at last, the most boring, dragged out, dramatised, and ridiculously long transfer saga in human history has finally come to a happy end for Arsenal.
Or will it be a happy end? No doubt he is an experienced international with real footballing pedigree, but will he suddenly solve all the problems we have been endlessly debating all season?
Hopefully. If his very presence can lift the team enough to beat the Spuds on Sunday, and win replay against Cardiff and then the slowly returning players make a similar impact, we could just sneak our way back into that top four.
I for one am so looking forward to seeing a player with, skill, pace, poise, and genuine class - everything that Eboue, Adebayor, Bendtner and a few others sadly lack. Hurry back Cesc, Andrey will certainly need you to be able to play his brand of football.
Hopefully this will be another Wenger masterstroke at just the right time. I honestly believe that if we had beaten West ham on Saturday, this deal may have been binned, but maybe Wenger’s patience finally gave out, on the back of the shamefully toothless performance on Saturday, and the reality that RVP can't do it all on his own.
Taxi for Adebayor!!!!
