A relatively short weekly update this week, about the two games we have coming up next.
Middlesbrough on Sunday, and The Rocket will be open at 11:30am sharp. Obviously as it’s a 1:30 kick off, we expect to be busy from midday. After the game, there will be further drinking time, along with the delight of Blackburn vs Wigan on TV. If that gets too boring, we'll probably stick the "Greatest Victories over Man U" DVD on instead. We will also be selling tickets for our end of season party this Sunday in the Rocket - priced at £5 each, but to help beat the credit crunch, that £5 includes your first drink for free!!. So after taking that into account, the entrance ticket is more like £2. More details on the end of season party to follow over the next couple of weeks.
Then to Manchester. REDaction are running a special coach to the Man U away game next week, which stops at a pub for a couple of hours in the afternoon. Details can be downloaded here - if you want to come along with us, get yourself booked up asap, as we only have a couple of places on the coach left.
If you aren't going to Manchester, and want somewhere to watch the game with lots of fellow Gooners, we are pleased to say that we have arranged for The Rocket to be open to show the game. The upstairs bar will be open, showing the game on a big screen on stage. Doors open at 6:30pm. You will need to enter via the doors on the right hand side of the Rocket as you look at the venue. If you watched any of the games at the Islington Academy, you'll know how good the atmosphere can be when there are hundreds of Gooners in the same place. So, if you want to avoid plastic Mancs, The Rocket is the place to go.
That's all for now - some big home games coming up soon, so we'll be back in touch about those before too long.
