Man Utd all the way?

Gooner Gambling Scheme Week 19: Blue SQ

Old Trafford: Not much hope for Arsenal in the market

This week I’m joining Blue SQ and they have a rather interesting offer at the moment of an initial £40 matched bet and from then on a £10 matched bet for 4 weeks after. So that’s up to £80 we’ll have to play with over the next few weeks. For Sunday’s upcoming match against Man Utd I’ll look to unlock our initial £40 promo bet and then utilise it on the same game.

So use this link and it will send you to Blue SQ’s promotion page. The sign-up process is simple and Moneybookers is OK to use. For now just deposit the initial £40 as we don’t want any excess money tied up in the bookie – depositing funds is always instant but of course withdrawing them can take a few days. Once logged in go to “Sports”, “Football”, and “English Premier League”. On the right hand side of the screen there’s a drop down box in which you can change odds over to decimal format. Once this is done you can see the odds make interesting reading and most certainly reflect our poor start to the Premier League season. I can’t remember when our odds were as long as 7 for the win whilst a home win for Man Utd is just 1.4. Fortunately the minimum bet requirements to unlock the free £40 bet is just 1.25 so whilst I don’t like doing it, betting on the Man Utd win will keep our loss to a minimum before we can look to extract a profit from our free £40. So click on “BET” next to the Man Utd win and place your full £40 stake. Odds were at 1.4 as I did this meaning a win of £16 - the promo offer should then be credited to your account immediately.

The odds of 7 for an Arsenal win would actually be very good to use for the second part of the offer but unfortunately part of Blue SQ T&Cs state that you can’t use your qualifying bet in the same market as the promo bet. Looking at the correct score market the Man Utd 1-0 has some fairly comparable odds between Blue SQ and Betfair, and with Szczcesny’s impressive form of late he might well be to keep to this low scoreline. So place the free £40 bet which had odds of 7.5 as I did this and should bring in £260.

At Betfair find the “Man Utd v Arsenal” match, from here it’s important we lay both the Man Utd win and the Man Utd 1-0. So lay the win which had odds of 1.55 as I did this with £36 meaning my liability was £19.80. Then lay the Man Utd 1-0 which had odds of 8.2 as I did this with £30 meaning my liability was £216. Overall it means we will lose either £3.80 or £4 from our qualifying bet so let’s call it a £4 loss and depending on the score line we will be left with...

-Man Utd win 1-0: +£40 (+260 at Blue SQ, -216 at Betfair, -4 Qualifying bet)

-Man Utd fail to win 1-0: +£26 (-40 FREE BET at Blue SQ, +30 at Betfair, -4 Qualifying bet)

So it’s a good profit this week from what’s sure to be an incredibly tough game for the Gunners. Next week I’ll be joining another bookie but on top of this looking to unlock another £10 free bet from Blue SQ to have more shots and winning a guaranteed profit. Remember...

“Why gamble when you can win!”
