Jeff Dawes - Marc was asked, but had a work commitment in Madrid. We'll have another go at getting the 'dream team' together before the season's out

I'm a 10 year Arsenal fan, fan of the podcast, and an American. Silent Stan is a crappy owner and it's got nothing to do with him being an American. If you new anything about the teams that he owns in the US you would know that he doesn't spend any money and his teams usually suck. He doesn't care about winning and the fans here don't like him either. David Dein should have known this before he ever got him involved with Arsenal. Instead of always crying about getting him back on the board, you should be blaming him for this mess. Love the comment that winning isn't important in American sports. Do you realize how stupid that sounds? What a douche!

Good podcast but I miss the boy Ollington. There were a lot of calls to get the dream team of Azuley, Whitcher and Ollington back together. Was he asked to do this one?

In Arsene We Trust - If there is one thing I love, it's people who destroy their own argument by admitting they have made an opinion about something before actually bothering to actually listen to the views expressed. Try listening first and then, by all means, criticise. We debate in this podcast, there is no slagging off.

Is this podcast just going to be all Wenger bashing or is there some balance in the argument. If it's not the latter, I won't bother listening to just constant whining.

Pity about the timing of this. Listening in the wake of the Bradford debacle it seems the David Dein affair was whisked away pretty quickly for my liking... Strange admission by Mr Payton to say Dein concentrated more on the football and Arsenal needed to concentrate on the business side regarding the Emirates. Piffle, didn't Dein help build the North and Clock End stands – yep, and if I remember rightly, on the opening day he was proudly in amongst us shaking supporters hands and asking their views. So, do we miss Dein now – more than ever ? Gazidis has neither the charisma nor know how to fill Dein's role. As for Hill-Wood, he inherited his share in Arsenal, Eton educated, and by his own admission he has no idea about talent or selection and lives in a toffee-nosed Chelsea pad, so perfectly qualified to sack our Mr Arsenal then. This board power politics normally means nothing to the ordinary football supporter, least of all me – but the sacking of Dein was the single most costly mistake the Arsenal board ever made... We're here witnessing the fact, many trophy-less years later. Wenger may have got a pay rise to stay quiet over the Dein debacle but by the end of this season he may just wish he'd stood up to the board to protect his wingman and mentor... Wenger's missed him more than anyone... Never mind the bollox

Interesting podcast. Unless those 25,000 fans boycotting a match are day trippers the club will not care because it is only missing out on people buying programmes and/or food and only care about money not bad PR!! Agree with Tim that Arsenal needs Henry back again because Wenger won't buy anyone else!

Paul - The recording dates are booked some way in advance due to the (convenient) venue needing to be secured. They are not recorded on a whim. Anyway, if you listen to it, there is not a lengthy discussion about that game in particular. We mention the timing in the description above to give it a bit of context. If it were recorded this morning, then obviously the dominant issues might not be the same. And hey, you know what. It's free! So money back if not satisfied, ok?
