EUROFAN-2015 official invitation to Arsenal fans

Fancy a long weekend in the Ukraine next summer?

My name is Slavik, I am from Lviv, Ukraine. In June 2015 our NGO Karpaty www.gokarpaty.org will be holding the traditional international fans’ tournament EUROFAN in Lviv (Ukraine) for the 9th consecutive year.

You can find many photos and videos from previous events on Facebook

The dates: 25-28 June 2015.
On 25 June teams arrive in Lviv and check in hotels, also a press conference will be held on that day. The football tournament lasts three days, from 26 June till 28 June 2015.

Our tournament is rather a non-competitive one.
Professional or semi-professional players are not allowed.
The official motto of the EUROFAN is: Football, Friends, Fun - enjoy EuroFan!

Tournament rules: 11-a-side teams,
32 teams will be divided into 8 qualifying groups with top two teams from each group progressing to the playoff stage;
matches played in qualifying groups will have duration of 40 minutes (2 halves, 20 minutes each),
matches played in 1/8 and 1/4 of playoffs will have duration of 50 minutes (2 halves, 25 minutes each),
matches played in semifinals and final will have duration of 60 minutes (2 halves, 30 minutes each).
Number of substitutes is not limited.

Before every game we play national or clubs’ anthems, during games we arrange live comments and music (speakers are placed around the ground, DJ and commentators work with microphones).
Also we ask each participating team to send us in advance an entry fee in the amount of USD 205 (or EUR 150) as a guarantee of participation.

Regarding accommodation:
Depending on a hotel, its class, location and conditions, we offer discounts on stay for all members of your delegation (the number of persons is not limited).
Normally cost of one night per one person in a good hotel is about 40-50 EUR.
So you pay about 20 EUR from one person per night.

During the tournament all invited teams will be accompanied by volunteers speaking in respective languages.
They will meet teams in Lviv, help in finding hotels, checking-in and be helpful in different situations.
During the tournament there will be an opening party and after the tournament we organize a finishing party with prizes and mementos for all tournament guests.

The final list of participants will include 32 National and club fans’ teams from all over Europe.

We would like to invite fans' team of Arsenal F.C. to take part in the “EUROFAN-2015” fan-festival/tournament.

One final thing for anyone who is concerned about travelling to this part of the Ukraine. Lviv is an absolutely safe and quiet place, located near Poland, more than 1200 km away from the troublesome eastern regions of Ukraine. Moreover, two Ukrainian clubs - Shakhtar (Donetsk) and Metalist (Kharkiv) - play their home matches of respective European competitions (Champions League and Europa League) in our city. Our national team also plays its home matches either in Lviv or in Kyiv which is 500 km away from Lviv in the eastern direction.

Best regards,
Slavik

Listen to this: Brisbane Roar have now sacked their coach after 6 games with only one win - just 6 months after he led the team to the premiership and being voted coach of the year. Oh boy, a momentary lapse of reason?

the writing has been on the wall. many said the fa cup saved his arse last year and they were right. ramsey looks lost. theres still no discipline in the team. the centre half and goalkeeper situation remains a joke. this is what happens when the board are in awe of a managemer and let him have his own way time and again. i think we should make a raid on everton and get martinez before man city do

Kilkenny, didn't you hear it was the fact OGL could have sign messi years ago that has inspired him to be what he is today.

Kilkenny, they got their revenge in the mixed rules, can you imagine this old fraud managing that? can you imagine him on the side line? he wouldn't know what hit him, no midgets or pre Madonna's there, he'd be on the first euro star back to france.

Rush goalie next from Clouseau? Surely the only way to save the season is get the entire 11 players within 10 yards of the oppositions box!!

I wish i could be sid, we're as good as an amateur dramatic society we certainly have a manager who would feel right at home there (although he'd probably balls that up as well) All we need to change that is the boo's and the rotten tomatoes, but we're to nice for that, we'd rather continue being amateurs.

Hey kilkenny how about getting Brian Cody to manage this team? It has become a joke now and teams love to play against Arsenal because they know how to beat them. Dortmund next up in the CL.

Ireland beat the aussies in the rugby and as usual wenger and his team of phoneys spoil everything. We cant beat manure because that yellowbelly of a manager is terrified of them, just like he is of the chavs,Barca Muunich and many others. 3 more years of this fraud at least. I will not go till he has gone. Really angry now

Yes kilkenny its pathetic, the second year in a row that UTD where weak and still cant beat them. What is this thing about Arsenal not able to beat UTD? That sham of a manager has to surely go now no more excuses.

Funny how modern football pricing is equated to theatre pricing by clubs because they're supposedly both part of the entertainment industry. If an amateur dramatics society dropped that many clangers in front of an audience there would be a stampede of ripped - off punters in the foyer baying for a refund.

Worst start to a season since 82. This team cant defend and cant score. A pathetic joke of a team, with a pathetic joke of a manager. Manure were there for the taking ,but no,they couldn,t beat them again. Enough is enough even u akbs must know this.

Vyacheslav, thanks for the invite it sounds like a good do, but there wasn't any interest in playing on the Emirates pitch a while back so don't expect much for this, maybe you'd have better luck trying the Tollington where the Tristrams and Julians hang out.

OGL would commentate for a 'modest' fee. Has 'some' WC experience though would desire a smaller audience. Contact WESTIE at AKB Towers Holloway. With a smaller audience in mind do you have any contacts for EUROPA matches as Arsenal are presently gearing up for their first stab at such an illustrious cup next season. Diaby (and his medical team) would also be interested in some punditry work. Good luck!
