Copenhagen 2000- We won more corners and received half as many yellow cards (and no red cards) as the opposition. We were the moral winners, and that's all the matters. Fact.

To be fair, we didn't actually lose the UEFA cup final. Using AKB criteria, we drew that final, and under AKB law 4, subsection 12, means we actually won. It is a well known fact you can win cups without actually winning a game, and the 2000 final is a fine example to prove this theory. But that was the only final that we wore blue suits to, whereas against Southampton we wore black suits.

@Jamie Just to be pedantic the loss to Barcelona was in a yellow & GREY kit. Perform against Villa and Arseal should win no matter what colours they're in

@Simon To be fair to Wenger he only lost one final(on pens) in yellow & blue (v Galatasaraay in 2000 Uefa Cup) & that's the only one Arsenal has played in those colours under him.

Mr Sky has a shocking memory he says Arsenal played Liverpool on the tuesday before the cup final. We played them 10 days before. And how could Kev not remember we wore red v Southampton.Wenger has never won a cup when we wore yellow. And yes the Spy did say Chambers is the new Bobby Moore.Bonkers

Mr Spy, regarding the FA Cup memories, we didn't go into the Ipswich Final 'unbeaten in 15 matches'. After beating Orient, we lost 2 games in April, the second of which was up at Anfield where Souness was responsible for Brady's ankle injury.
