Save ‘The Gooner’ Update! Sample Issue for 50p!

March sees us go into overdrive to reach our target of 1000 subscribers for next season

Save ‘The Gooner’ Update! Sample Issue for 50p!

Sample one of these issues for only 50p (UK only)

Ok, so at a rough estimate, we are currently at approx. 400 signed up, 600 to go. Let’s start with details of what we are doing and why, by pointing anyone not aware of it to the article that kicked off our campaign back in January – that’s here.

So March sees us get serious and pull out all the stops to get the extra numbers required. We’re hopeful because of the following –

1 – We're getting support in terms of awareness from Arseblog (I’m on today’s Arsecast) and ArsenalFanTV (I’ll be recording a video with them next week). Many thanks to Andrew and Robbie for their kind support.

2 – We have a significant number of existing subcribers whose subscription ends with the final issue of the current season, and we hope most of those will re-subscribe

3 – We have a very lengthy email list of people that have contacted The Gooner or completed the annual Gooner survey down the years and we’ll be emailing the lot of them, firing some serious flak.

4 – Every copy of the current issue being sold at the stadium and sent out by post includes this form giving full details of the different payment options, so that people who buy the fanzine at matches understand that if enough of them do not subscribe, there won’t be a Gooner to buy next season. These payment options can also be viewed here.

Also, if you are reading this and want a taster of what The Gooner is like (UK addresses only) pay us 50p to cover the postage and we will send you an issue from this season (one of 266-269, unfortunately you can’t choose which). That can be ordered from our online store with a credit card via PayPal on this page.

And finally, if you wish to look at all the subscription options for next season, they can be found on this page.

So it’s over to you people. We’ll know by the time the final issue goes to press in early April whether or not it’s a case of thanks and farewell, or see you after the summer.

ArseneKnewBest, i'd say a hell of a lot less than that mate, more like five or less, the fans can even see it already, they're half way there already, fans, proper fans will do anything for the good of their club, not the owners or the manager, and the hammers fans are willing and will do that as was witnessed (unlike our waste of space luvvies)and their not even organised yet. wenger out now.

Yeah right Tooey you idiot. Give moyes and the tory pornographers that run west ham another 20 years in charge and you'll then see a situation analogous to what's happening at the Arsenal. You're a total thicko arentcha spud man.

good evening AKB ( and we all know what the'B'stands for) It's interesting. West Ham request change and you can bet that they will get the change that they are desperate for. Now I've used the words 'fickle' before and will do so again. Pi55 poor attempts at a few Gooners believing that they can change the world. Nope. It ain't gonna happen. Quick question..... How many Hammers fans want their team to get defeated. Answer.... Zero. Grow some Gooners. The team and manager deserve better.

As soon as potential subscribers visit OG and see contributions from the racist, belligerent loon that is tooey, they'll possibly be buying subscriptions in their droves. If, on the other hand, he's really seen as a stain on the online gooner's underpants (which actually happens to be my view) it won't help for the OG to be associated with him. Maybe time for an embargo on his so called oeuvre in an effort to boost your commercial success.

Good News - ish . I was wondering how matters were proceeding ? I have done my bit. And obviously if the current subscribers all take up for next year, that should be a BIG push towards the final total. Keep Beavering away.
