Final issue (of this season) of The Gooner on sale tonight

But we survive to print in 2018/19!

Final issue (of this season) of The Gooner on sale tonight

Front and back covers of the new issue

Ok, so for those who did not pick up on it in Monday’s editorial, or on Twitter, we were successful in our campaign to raise 1,000 subscribers to continue producing the printed version of The Gooner next season. What that also means is that although there was a cut-off point to get the required 1,000, (our wanting to know if it was to be our last ever issue when 271 went to press), now we have achieved that, there is no deadline for further subscriptions, should you wish to sign up. Full details can be seen on this interactive downloadable form or if you are paying with debit or credit card, here is the page with all the subscription options.

However, we’ve an issue to punt out before the end of the current season. It will be sent out to subscribers today (due to the Bank Holiday weekend, it only went to the printers on Tuesday morning), and be on sale from one of our sellers on your approach to the stadium this evening (as long as you are not too early).

It costs £3, and the contents include…
Well Played, We All Follow The Arsenal, The Highbury Library
Talking Reds – Editorial
Arsenal’s Cup Kings – Awards time
Did A Parachuting Santa Ultimately Cost Arsenal The Title? – Back to Villa Park in December 1998

Thank you for the clarification Ed. Now all you have to do is get rid of the awful mods on the forum, namely DB10 and Flash Gunner.

nut flush gooner - Try reading all of the article linked to in the first line of the piece above - specifically the 8th paragraph. Also our tweet on April 2nd which read as follows: "Delighted to announce that we have reached our target of 1000 subscribers to #SaveTheGooner & will be continuing to print next season. Many sincere thanks to every single individual that subscribed, & all those that helped with awareness. List of thanks to follow." Note to self - file this poster under: Numpties / WUMs - Grade One

I’ve looked everywhere on twitter and through this article and can’t see a thank you to those that subbed for next seasons fanzine? Given the high profile campaign, that is really poor.
