The 2019 Gooner Survey Is Now Open For Voting

So just a brief one today to let you know that the 2019 Gooner Survey is now open for votes.

We'll close it at the end of June and bring you the results in the first week of July.

Allow yourselves 15 minutes to complete it - from memory you have to do it in one hit.

Click on this here link to start voting.

Or if you are a copy and paste type with your urls, then this is the one you need - https://freeonlinesurveys.com/s/ouRjJWO4

At the end of the form, there's space to enter your email address if you are interested in receiving a proposed email newsletter from The Gooner, with exclusive content and offers. That should start in August. If you have no wish to complete the survey, we'll give you the opportunity to sign up for that again nearer the time.

And if you fancy putting on a bet ahead of next season, remember to use your bonus code for Coral before placing your selections. Good luck!

I tend to agree with Andrew about Xhaka. It’s true he’s had his moments and sometimes loses control but what the hell, if he cleans out the opponent so what? It’s good to see a red shirt from N7 leaving a piece on some of the c—-ts who play midfield in that PL. We ve moaned for yrs about the lack of physicality in the middle so shdt moan when we have one of the boys dish some rough stuff out. It comes with a few yellows and reds. I d like to have seen him v that fat oaf Allardyces Bolton and Phylis s Ork s a few yrs ago. Maybe such shithouse clubs wdt have been so easy about seeing us as a soft touch back then. Every decent team needs a dirty sod in there. Keep kicking the f——-s Granit lad. He needs more licence to go forwards with a real defensive anchor behind him of the type who ll also flatten a few in tough away games.

Whilst Xhaka has had his share of calamaties, he has improved greatly this season and I believe is subject to an agenda. He is NOT a defensive mid, he is a playmaker and when partnered with Lucas he plays much better.. If he was THAT bad he would have not started so many games under two managers. What's more, in an era where Arsenal players are constantly being accused of lacking grit and guts, Xhaka displays those qualities. Perhaps not a world class player, but Future captain material for me

Unfortunately Don, Xhaka said he is happy at the club and has no intention to leave. This transfer window I am more interested in who the club can offload then any signings.I only just about came down on Dick staying another season due to the mess he inherited but I do have my doubts , I just hope he can prove them wrong. If he bloods a few young players I think people would get behind him even if there are a few dodgy results as fans would see a plan and direction.

I took the survey and the opportunity to Vote Ozil down. He's a disaster. A continuing one. Top marks to the survey for suggesting that we simply move him on with no transfer fee. Am content Ramsey is on his way. More youth please. They look ok. Clear out as many players smeared in Wenger as possible. I like Torreira, Guendouzi, Leno, No 31 as an attacker, Maitland Niles as a midfielder. Auba and Laca excellent. Xhaka out ASAP. Pleased Lichsteiner has departed. I like Mkhtarian but reputedly he's going as very expensive. Like Sokratis but old. Good for 1 more season possibly two. Rob Holding a solid defender. Fabregas back please as player coach. We badly need his attitude.
