Arsenal are increasing their interest in Bayer Leverkusen winger Moussa Diaby, according to reports on the continent.
Gunners head coach Mikel Arteta had been noting the form of former PSG wideman Diaby this season prior to the coronavirus pandemic.
Diaby, 20, has hit five goals in 27 appearances during the truncated 2019-20 season, while supplying a pair of assists in Die Werkself’s 4-1 victory over Werder Bremen this week as the Bundesliga returned, albeit behind closed doors.
French media outlet Le10Sport claim Arsenal are favourites to sign the £25m rated attacker despite matchday and television revenue slashed due to the Covid-19 crisis.
However, the Gunners could face competition from German powerhouses Borussia Dortmund who are said to be ramping up their interest in the Paris-born wideman.
The Paris-born left-winger has represented France in every age group from U18 to U21 and could compliment Arteta’s attacking options, with record £72m signing Nicolas Pepe dovetailing on the right flank.
