Arsenal have opened talks with Juventus over a move for midfielder Adrien Rabiot according to reports in France.

The left-footed Rabiot is available for around £27m, after struggling in Turin after his free transfer from Ligue 1 moneybags PSG last summer.

The 25-year-old, who has been linked with the Gunners throughout his career, has failed to convince Juve boss Maurizio Sarri he is worthy of a place in his starting XI on a consistent basis.

French media outlet Le10Sport claim Rabiot is set to be transfer listed in the forthcoming summer window – with Arsenal head coach Mikel Arteta interested in using the midfielder alongside Matteo Guendouzi.

While the Gunners face competition from Manchester United and Everton, the lure of the Emirates and London could yet sway the former Toulouse man.

Another player Arsenal are monitoring is German teenager Kaan Kurt.

The 18-year-old defender has shone for Borussia Monchengladbach II in Germany's fourth tier during the truncated 2019-20 campaign, but is yet to play for the senior team.

Right-back Kurt can also operate on the left hand side and is valued at around £4m with his contract with Die Fohlen due to expire in 2022.
