Goalkeeper – Emiliano Martinez

The Argentine has looked confident since replacing the injured Bernd Leno and he will be hoping for another solid display against the Canaries.

Centre-back – Shkodran Mustafi

The normally haphazard German continues to improve under Arteta and has become a mainstay in the Gunners defence. Mustafi will be keen to continue his good form on Wednesday.

Centre-back – Rob Holding

Holding has impressed on his return from injury and with David Luiz picking up a knock against Sheffield United, the Englishman could well be drafted into the team.

Centre-back – Kieran Tierney

The Scot’s recent impressive displays show he is determined to make up for lost time after an injury-hit season. Tierney could feature on the left of a three-man defence if Arteta decides to stick with the formation that bought wins against Southampton and Sheffield United.

Right wing-back – Hector Bellerin

The Spaniard will be tasked with providing the width on the right side and he will be keen to form a better understanding with Nicolas Pepe. The Spaniard will also be hoping for another win to take his planted tree total to 9,000.

Left wing-back – Bukayo Saka

Fresh from signing a new deal, the 18-year-old will be keen to show just why he deserved that new contract with a good display on Wednesday.

Central midfield – Granit Xhaka

The Swiss midfielder has become a key cog under Arteta and he will need to dictate the tempo against Norwich if the Gunners are to run out convincing winners.

Central midfield – Dani Ceballos

The Real Madrid loanee scored the late winner against Sheffield United, and that should see him keep his place in the team for Wednesday’s game.

Right-winger – Nicolas Pepe

The club-record signing is starting to look at home in England and his goal against Sheffield United will boost his confidence. Pepe must now start performing on a consistent basis.

Left-winger – Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang

Having sat out the FA Cup win over Sheffield United, Arsenal’s captain will return to the team on Wednesday and he’ll be keen to bring an end to his four-game goal drought – his longest since November 2014.

Striker – Eddie Nketiah

The young striker seems to be winning the battle with Alexandre Lacazette to lead the line, and he will need to keep scoring if he wants to keep his place.
