Arsenal dealt Coutinho blow
Arsenal have been dealt a blow in their pursuit of Barcelona's Philippe Coutinho after club president Josep Bartomeu confirmed he could stay.
The upheaval of Barca's humiliating 8-2 Champions League defeat to Bayern Munich has seen Ronald Koeman replace Quique Setien as manager, meaning Coutinho could have a future at the Camp Nou.
During the announcement of Koeman's appointment, Bartomeu gave an update on the squad and the Brazilian playmaker, saying: "Coutinho can stay here, if Koeman wants him."
It is believed Arsenal are keen to bring Coutinho to north London on loan, but it looks like their chase could come to nothing.

Ceballos keen on return
Dani Ceballos could still return on loan to Arsenal from Real Madrid, according to Sky Sports.
The Spaniard impressed during his initial loan spell at the Emirates as he played a key role in the Gunners lifting the FA Cup, with Mikel Arteta now keen to bring him back.
Talks between the two clubs over another loan deal for the midfielder are ongoing, with Ceballos believed to be keen on staying at Arsenal.
But, it is unlikely that Arsenal will be able to negotiate a permanent deal for the 24-year-old.
Leeds eye Holding
Newly-promoted Leeds United are eyeing a move for Arsenal defender Rob Holding, according to Football Insider.
Marcelo Bielsa is keen to replace Ben White after his loan from Brighton ended, and he has reportedly identified Holding as a key target.
The 24-year-old could be one of a number of players sold by the Gunners this summer to raise funds, but a move is not at an advanced stage.
