Arsenal's teenage sensation Bukayo Saka has been nominated for the PFA Young Player of the Year award.

The 18-year-old Hale End graduate has caught the eye during his breakthrough season after making his Premier League a year before as a 17-year-old. 

Saka has underlined his importance to Gunners boss Mikel Arteta with his versatility, appearing in a number of positions from left-back to central midfield, as well as a wing-back on either flank. 

Saka netted four goals during the 2019-20 season including an excellent strike in a pivotal 2-0 victory over a vibrant Wolves side at Molyneux after restart.

The former Arsenal U18, U21 and U23 star also grabbed a vital strike at Standard Liege in the Europa League while also providing an eye-catching 12 assists through his powerful play down the flanks.

Previous Arsenal PFA Young Player of the Year winners have included Tony Adams, Paul Merson, Nicolas Anelka, Cesc Fabregas, Leah Williamson and Jack Wilshere.

Trent Alexander-Arnold (Liverpool)

Mason Greenwood (Manchester United)

Mason Mount (Chelsea)

Marcus Rashford (Manchester United)

The PFA Awards will be broadcast on Tuesday, September, 8 at 7pm (UK time) on the PFA’s social media channels.
