New £45m signing Thomas Partey is in the Ghana squad for his country's friendlies against Mali this Friday and Qatar on Monday, October 12.

 Arsenal young guns Ainsley Maitland-Niles and Bukayo Saka have been called up by Three Lions boss Gareth Southgate for England's friendly against Wales on Thursday, and for the following Nations League games against Belgium on Sunday and Wednesday, October 14.

While Eddie Nketiah has been named in England's squad for the Euro U21 qualifiers against Andorra today and against Turkey next Tuesday.

Arsenal keeper Bernd Leno has been called up for Germany, as the Mannschaft line-up against Turkey in a friendly today, as well as UEFA Nations League games against Ukraine on Saturday, October 10 and Switzerland on Tuesday, October 13.
 
New Icelandic keeper Alex Runarsson has been picked in his country's squad for their Euro 2020 qualifying play-off against Romania, tomorrow, Thursday, and their Nations League games against Denmark on Sunday, October 11 and Belgium on Wednesday, October 14.
 
Kieran Tierney had been included in the Scotland squad for their Euro 2020 qualifying play-off against Israel on Thursday, October 8, and Nations League games against Slovakia on Sunday, October 11 and Czech Republic on Wednesday, October 14. However with Stuart Armstrong's positive test for Covid the Arsenal defender now has to self-isolate for two weeks. 

The Gunners creative midfielder Dani Ceballos has been named in the Spain squad for their Iberian international friendly against neighbours Portugal today, Wednesday, and for their Nations League games against Switzerland on October 10 and Ukraine on Tuesday, October 13.

Sead Kolasinac whose deadline day move to Bayer Leverkusen fell through, has been included in the Bosnia & Herzegovina squad for their Euro 2020 play-off against Northern Ireland on Thursday and for the subsequent Nations League games against Netherlands on Sunday and Poland on Wednesday, October 14.
 
Lucas Torreira who moved to Atletico Madrid on a season long loan just as Partey was moving in the other direction has been named in the Uruguay squad for their 2022 World Cup qualifiers against Chile on Thursday and against Ecuador on Tuesday, October 13.
 
Granit Xhaka has been called up to the Switzerland squad for their friendly against Croatia on today and for the forthcoming Nations League games against Spain on Saturday and Germany on Tuesday, October 13.
 
Gunners winger Nicolas Pepe who scored the winner against Sheffield United at the weekend has been included in the Ivory Coast squad for their international friendlies against Belgium on Thursday, October 8 and Japan on Tuesday, October 13.

Forgotten man Matteo Guendouzi who Arteta farmed out on loan to Hertha Berlin for the seaon has been called up to the France squad for their Under-21 Championship qualifiers against Liechtenstein on Thursday and Slovakia on Monday.
