EXCLUSIVE: Arsenal and Leeds are battling for the signature of exciting Israeli international Manor Solomon.

The highly-rated winger has been impressing at Shakhtar Donetsk, landing two titles and a domestic cup during his time in Ukraine. 

The 21-year-old grabbed headlines when he notched the only goal of the match when Israel beat Scotland 1-0 last month. 

Manchester City have previously been linked with the wideman, while Donetsk have already turned down an offer of 20m Euros from Champions League side Atalanta.

With Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta aiming to boost his struggling squad with additions in the January transfer window, the north Londoners face a battle with Leeds, who are said to be showing more determination to land the Israeli starlet. 

However, the Gooner understands Arsenal are also monitoring left-winger Marcus Thuram from Bundesliga side Borussia Moenchengladbach.
