Bernd Leno - 1 - What on earth was he doing? Sent off for a ridiculous error of judgement when he handled the ball outside his box. With the Gunners already down to 10 men he let his side down massively.
Hector Bellerin - 6 - Looked a threat going forward, but struggled with the pace of the Wolves.
Rob Holding - 5.5 - An okay performance from the Englishman.
David Luiz - 5 - If it wasn't for a lockdown, I imagine the Brazilian would be banging on VAR's door at Stockley Park demanding an explanation for his red card and the subsequent penalty, neither of which should have been given. Luiz had actually been playing well before the incident.
Cedric Soares - 6 - Played well in the first half and caused Wolves problems going forward, but he struggled after the break as the hosts saw more of the ball and Traore became more of a threat.
Thomas Partey - 7 - Ran the game during the first half with a fine display of composure and an excellent array of passing. His influence on the game faded after the red cards before being taken off.
Granit Xhaka - 6.5 - Battled well in midfield but struggled to impact the game with Wolves holding the numerical advantage.
Nicolas Pepe - 8 - The Ivorian finally looks like the player Arsenal thought they were getting 18 months ago. Pepe is brimming with confidence, working hard for the team and doing what is required of him, and he scored a superb goal to cap off a fine display. The penny may finally have dropped for him.
Emile Smith Rowe - 6 - A rather quiet performance from the talented youngster who looks like he could do with a rest after an intense run of games.
Bukayo Saka - 7.5 - Looked a constant threat in the first half and could have had a hat-trick before - like many of his team-mates - fading with the Gunners down to nine men. Arsenal will be pleased to have their best player this season back to fitness.
Alexandre Lacazette - 6.5 - Looked bright in the first half and linked play well before being sacrificed after Luiz was sent off just before the break.
Substitute
Gabriel - 7 - Defended well in a solid performance at the back.
Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang - 5.5 - Understandably failed to impact the game after coming on.
Alex Runarsson - 7 - Made a number of important saves as he tried to keep Arsenal in the game. It was a shame Mikel Arteta's punt on signing Australian keeeper Mat Ryan on loan as Arsenal's No2 netminder, didn't come off, as he missed the game through injury. Speaking of Australia and taking a punt, why not play online pokies for real money
VAR - 0 - Just appalling.
