Arsenal's Emile Smith Rowe has been called up for England duty following impressive form for the north Londoners.
The attacking midfielder has been in outstanding form for Mikel Arteta's Gunners ,with has five goals and two assists in his past eight matches in all competitions, including the winner against Watford on Sunday.
Smith Rowe has been appearing regularly for the England U21 side, recently scoring in their 1-0 victory against Andorra - and could now make his debut for the Three Lions when they host Albania at Wembley on Friday evening.
The 21-year-old joins Aaron Ramsdale and Bukayo Saka in Southgate’s squad, with only Ben White missing out from the crop of England internationals at the club.
The Arsenal website said: "Congratulations to Emile Smith Rowe, who has been called up to the England squad for the first time."
Arsenal centre-back Gabriel has received a call-up by the Brazil squad, a reward for his excellent form over the last couple of months.
