Arsenal have released the following statement ahead of the Gunners clash with West Ham at the Emirates on Wednesday evening. 

The UK Government has announced that, subject to parliamentary approval, its ‘COVID-19 Autumn and Winter Plan B’ will now be implemented.

This means any venue with a capacity of at least 10,000 must now ensure attendees have COVID certification in the form of a valid COVID Pass or proof (text/email confirmation) of a negative lateral flow/PCR test taken within 48 hours of the fixture.

Please note, these measures will apply from our match against West Ham on Wednesday 15 December.

Under these new measures, we are required by UK Government to ensure that:

All match attendees aged 18 and over declare their COVID status before attending Emirates StadiumAll match attendees aged 18 and over must bring a valid COVID Pass or proof of a negative lateral flow/PCR test taken within 48 hours before the fixture to Emirates Stadium, and be prepared to show it when askedAll match attendees who are unable to show a valid COVID Pass (provided they do not have an exemption pass) or proof of a negative lateral flow/PCR test are refused entry to Emirates Stadium

If you are a season-ticket holder or if you have purchased a ticket for a game at Emirates Stadium, in line with Premier League requirements, you must submit a declaration of your COVID status before attending the fixture.

This will be sent to you in a separate email prior to the game and must be submitted prior to three hours before kick-off. 

By making this declaration, you agree to bring a valid COVID Pass or proof of a negative lateral flow/PCR test taken within 48 hours before the fixture when attending a game at Emirates Stadium. In line with Premier League requirements, spot-checks will also increase significantly on a matchday.

Fans who are unable to show a valid COVID Pass, negative lateral flow/PCR test or an exemption pass on request will be denied entry to the stadium.
