Arsenal set to make Vlahovic bid 

Reports in Italy suggest Arsenal could lodge an official bid for Fiorentina striker Dusan Vlahovic within the next 48 hours. 

The bid is expected to be in the region of £50m to £70m, and Lucas Torreira could also be included in the offer. 

The 21-year-old has 20 goals in 23 games this season and is Arsenal’s number one target this month, with both clubs keen to get a deal done. 

Spence eyed after cup exploits 

After impressing against the Gunners in the FA Cup, Djed Spence is now on Arsenal’s radar. 

The 21-year-old kept Gabriel Martinelli quiet in a stellar display as Nottingham Forest won the third-round tie 1-0, and Mikel Arteta is monitoring the defender’s progress. 

He isn’t the only one though, with reports claiming Serie A giants Inter and Roma are also watching the Middlesbrough defender. 

Gunners given Arthur boost 

Arsenal have been given a boost in their pursuit of Arthur Melo, with Juventus reportedly having found a replacement for the Brazilian. 

The Gunners are in talks to sign the midfielder on loan this month, but the Old Lady were keen to bring in cover before sanctioning the deal. 

Reports now suggest they may have done this, with Genoa’s icolò Rovella and Borussia Monchengladbach's Denis Zakaria being looked at.
