We've also got pieces on Arsenal Women by Freddie Cardy as well as cult Arsenal artist Northbanksy, not to mention tactics from Mike McDonald (Coach Mike), all the latest from Dial Square, songmeister general Ben Bennett, Ciaran McCloughlin, Clock End Italia, Sir Henry Norris, Jason Cross and Mick the Gooner.

With artwork from the briliant Ruth Beck, Michael Murphy and this issue's front cover artist Paul Dawes, and of course Talking Reds by editor Layth Yousif as well as a special piece on Highbury.

The Gooner Says:

With the fixture list causing all sorts of problems, and with the fact we have to produce seven issues this season, we have just published issue 292 (our fourth during 2021-22).

We wouldn’t normally have released it on a weekend with no football, but when your club is down to play three home games in just under 60 days, what else can you do.

We could have done with an FA Cup tie or two and if the stars had aligned maybe a League Cup final, but without those and of course, no European competition whatsoever this season, we’re struggling for games and sales.

So, if you like what we do but haven’t bought a copy in a while, or know of a mate in the same boat, then we’d urge you to buy the latest issue.

Not least because we’ve spent far more time than we should have done on, what with all the postponements and noise around postponements that we’re all absolutely knackered now.

Cheers, Layth and all the Gooner team
