Claims from the Iberian peninsula insist the former Arsenal captain has agreed to play for 'almost nothing' in order to land a move to the Nou Camp.
Juventus former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata is said to have been offered to Edu by the Turin giants in a loan deal until the end of the season.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for Espanyol's Raul de Tomas.
