Barcelona have agreed a permanent deal to sign Arsenal striker Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang on a free transfer on a day of transfer deadline drama.
Arsenal were willing to allow Aubameyang - who earns around £350,000 a week - to leave after in December following disciplinary issues.
Aubameyang will have a medical at Nou Camp after the club agreed a free-transfer signing from Arsenal - which will save the Gunners his weekly wage of £350,000 a week.
The former Borussia Dortmund attacker has not played for the Gunners since Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta lost patience with the The 32-year-old Gabon striker after his side lost 2-1 to Everton on December 6.
In total Arsenal are set to make a saving of around £25m in wages with Aubameyang's departure - however his exit means Arteta's squad will finish the season with only two recognised strikers, with both Eddie Nketiah and Alex Lacazette out of contract this summer.
Aubameyang scored 92 goals in 163 games since his £56m arrival from Borussia Dortmund in 2018.
