Arsenal 2-2 Spurs
Arsenal's failure to consolidate two hard-earned leads ultimately cost them victory in this frenzied and frenetic North London derby on Sunday afternoon.
Bukayo Saka's shot was deflected past Lilywhites' keeper Guglielmo Vicario via the one of Cristian Romero to put the Gunners 1-0 ahead in the 26th minute.
With the home side in the ascendancy heading into the interval, Ange Postecoglu's visitors equalised through Son Heung-min three minutes before the break.
Boss Mikel Arteta replaced injured record signing Declan Rice with Jorginho at the break, also swapping Fabio Vieira with Kai Havertz as Arsenal attempted to regain the lead.
They did so in the 54th minute, when Saka beat Vicario with his spot kick, correctly awarded by VAR after Ben White's close range shot struck Romero's outstretched arm.
However, with many in the stadium still celebrating, Jorginho ceded possession to James Maddison, who played in Son to slot past David Raya to make the score 2-2 a minute later.
Despite Arsenal dominating the closing stages, the Gunners couldn't break down the Spurs backline, as the sides took a share of the spoils to end another lively encounter in the history of this storied fixture.
