Arsenal are signing big names this Summer – 5 HOT transfer rumors

This summer will be a busy one for Mikel Arteta and Arsenal as the side looks at adding quality to the squad ahead of the 2022-23 Premier League season. After a season of disappointment, Arsenal wants to make things right.

The start was horrendous, but Arsenal's recovery in the middle stages was commendable. But, unfortunately,, they could not achieve thier first objective - to play Champions League football next May.

Now that the season is over, Arteta wants to fix things soon (it might also be his last season if he doesn't). The North Londoners are now linked with a whole list of names, and by the looks of it, they are in for the big names.

Is Arsenal finally getting their act together in the summer window, getting hold of the important names?

Let's find out as we dig into the top 5 transfer news updates from the Gunners'.

1 Fabio Viera

This deal has already gone through with FC Porto to sign Fabio Viera for €35 million. Viera, who is 22, played 39 games for Porto last season and has seven goals and 16 assists under his name.

Coming up the ranks through the academy, Viera made his debut for the first side in June 2020. Soon after, he entered the first side of FC Porto and his first appearance for Portugal. Viera is expected to bring in a new style of football in the midfield for Arsenal.

His versatility in playing several positions, including that of #10, #8, and doubling up as a second striker, might have caught the eye of the Arsenal scouts. Expect Viera to have decent game time as Arsenal is a growing team with the likes of Bukayo Saka and Alexander Lacazette.

2 Gabriel Jesus

Manchester City striker Gabriel Jesus has already joined Arsenal. The Brazilian striker, who had an exceptional debut a few seasons ago for City, did not have the best season last time, and with Erlin Haaland's entry, Jesus will not be the first-choice striker.

Jesus has made 159 Premier League appearances for City and has scored on 58 occasions. Arsenal has been looking for the Pierre-Emerick Aubameyang replacement since they let him go in the January window.

With a point to prove, Jesus could be the ideal fit.

Jesus remained open about exiting the current Premier League champions, with his agent and Edu holding a number of talks with Arsenal over the last few months - before putting pen to paper recently. Jesus showed his quality by scoring on his debut last week during the 5-3 victory over Nuremburg.

3 Serge Gnabry

The Bayern star is in the last 12 months of his contract and is yet to finalize terms for a new contract with the club. With this in place, Arsenal is looking to build a fresh bid for the German star. Gnabry was a sensation last season, slotting 17 goals and coming in handy with ten assists.

But, if you've had Arsenal tickets between 2012 and 2015, you'd remember him better. Gnabry wasn't in his best form in his first stint, and this will be an ideal restart as he looks to grow as a top talent in the football world. Serge is a predominant right-wing and can play on the left as a second striker, giving Arsenal depth during the Premier League season.

Bayern is currently demanding £40million for the German, which should be a decent sum of money for the talent in store.

4 Youri Tielemans

The Leicester City midfielder will be a free agent next summer and has made his intentions clear that he wants to leave the club. Arsenal's midfield would love to have a Tielemans to team up with Granit Xhaka and Thomas Party.

An influential player and one of Belgian's golden assets, Tielemans had seven goals to his name last season and would bring a new dynamic to the side.

Tielemans is a hot transfer right now, with Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur also showing interest in the midfielder. Leicester's asking bid is around £25million

5 Oleksandr Zinchenko

After injury issues that affected Kieran Tierney of Arsenal last season and owing to the lackluster performance by Nuno Tavares, Arsenal is searching for a left-back. The addition of Zinchenko can be perfect since he is not just a left-back but can also double-up in the midfield.

The 25-year-old still has two years to go in his Manchester City contract, but that's not stopping Arsenal from bidding for the Ukrainian. With first-team appearances being fewer for Zinchenko, Arsenal can be the ideal team for his next move.

West Ham is also in the race, and he is expected to cost £40million.

Getting ready for the season

Every year, the summer window is one of the exciting times for every football fan. It is even more exciting if you have purchased Arsenal tickets because the fans eagerly wait to see who gets to wear Red in the upcoming season.

The last few years haven't been the best for Arsenal, and Champions League football would've been a great addition to ticket sales, but it was just not meant to be. However, if these signings go to plan, Miek Arteta is starting to build a Champions League-winning side.

With this level of players in-store, watching an Arsenal game will be challenging, primarily because of the high demand for Arsenal tickets. The Emirates Stadium is one of the most iconic football stadiums in Europe, and you cannot miss a game there.

The fixtures for 2022-23 are out, and a majority of Arsenal tickets are already sold out. However, you can still make plans since Seatsnet offers an ideal solution for any fan to purchase tickets.

The world's leading ticketing platform has covered you for Arsenal tickets and guarantees you will get your hands on a ticket with a few clicks. All you need to do is type Arsenal into the search bar, and all the available tickets will be displayed for the upcoming games.

It is still early pre-season, so, ideally, we suggest you bookmark the website and keep it so you don't miss out on those Arsenal tickets.
