Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta dropped a big hint that there could be further signings on transfer deadline day.
The Gunners manager was speaking after his side showed character to beat Aston Villa 2-1 at the Emirates on Wednesday.
Gabi Martinelli grabbed the winner 151 seconds after Douglas Luiz grabbed an equaliser against the run of play direct from a corner.
The victory made it five wins from five, giving Arsenal a perfect start to the season wtih 15 points after Gabriel Jesus had given the Gunners a first half lead.
However, it was injuries to his midfielder players Thomas Partey and Mohamed Elneny that concerned Arteta after the match.
On being asked whether injuries would affect his plans for deadline day, the Arsenal boss replied: "Obviously, it has an impact because Thomas [Partey] is injured and we are a bit short in that position.
"We have Sambi and Granit can play there but we are looking at options in the market.
"The club has been super supportive to keep improving the squad and the team as we can, and if the right player is available and we can do it, we will try.
