Arsenal boss Mikel Arteta has confirmed that Bukayo Saka will not be part of the England squad.
The Gunners wideman will not be featuring in Gareth Southgate's squad for the upcoming international break as part of an ongoing injury concern.
The 22-year-old winger was not involved in the Gunners' stirring late victory over Manchester City at the Emirates on Sunday after, following the Hale End academy graduate being substitued in his last three Gunners games.
Saka will now miss the friendly match against Australia at Wembley Stadium this Friday, as well as the European Championship qualifying clash against Italy, also at the nationa stadium, a week on Tuesday - with many fans hoping the young star will benefit from his first rest during a campaign since he broke into the first team under Unai Emery back in 2018.
