The North Londoners have been showing strong interest in landing Luiz from Villa Park.
Arsenal attempted tried to sign Luiz last summer - but two bids of £25million and £30m were turned down.
However, the Gunners may tempt former boss Unai Emery's resolve to keep Luiz by offering Smith Rowe - who the the former Arsenal head coach is a big fan from his time working with the player at the Emirates.
