Arsenal draw Bolton in Carabao Cup third round

Mikel Arteta's Arsenal drawn at home to Bolton Wanderers

The Gunners Carabao Cup campaign will kick off against Bolton Wanderers after the third-round draw took place on Wednesday evening. 

The North Londoners are aiming to win the competition for the third time, and the first since 1993, with the first triumph taking place in 1987.

Arsenal will host the Trotters at Emirates, with the tie scheduled for the week commencing Monday, September 23.

It will be the first time the teams have met since the 2011-12 season when the Gunners won 2-1 at home.

The definitive date will be confirmed in due course.
