Mikel Arteta's Arsenal have been drawn against Brentford in the third round of the Carabao Cup.
The tie against the Bees will take place at the Gtech Community Stadium, who needed penalties to get past Newport County in the second round on Tuesday night.
It will be the club's first meeting with the west London side in the competition since 2018 when we were 3-1 winners at Emirates Stadium.
The Gunners, alongside seven other clubs involved in European competition, were included in the draw as the North Londoners aim to lift the competition for only the third time, following on from our successes in 1986-87 and 1992-93.
While a date and kick-off time will be announced in due course, third-round fixtures will commence on the week commencing September 25.
