Arsenal could make an unlikely move for Real Madrid and France midfielder Aurelien Tchouameni this summer, if reports are to be believed.
West Ham's Declan Rice is believed to be Mikel Arteta's top midfield target, but Spanish publication Nacional are claiming a move for the Tchouameni could be on the cards.
Edu reportedly looked to sign the talented 23-year-old last summer, but he opted to join Real in a whopping £85.3m deal.
Despite impressing at last year's FIFA World Cup as France reached the final, the form of compatriot Eduardo Camavinga has forced Tchouameni to the Los Blancos bench.
The report claims that Real Madrid won't rule out selling the Frenchman in the summer, and would demand £62m for his services, significantly cheaper than what they paid for him last year and the fee West Ham are demanding for Rice.
Arsenal won't get a clear run at Tchouameni though, with Manchester United, Liverpool and Paris Saint-Germain also interested.
