Arsenal are said to have competition over capturing the signature of Mykhailo Mudryk.

The Gunners are said to have had their first bid for the player struck down by Shakhtar Donetsk as they believe the player is worth around the £88m region.

It’s been clear that Arsenal want the winger, and that too that Mudryk has expressed his desire to join Arsenal, flirting with fans over the prospect of  coming to play in North London.

Things may not be as simple as improving bids however as it’s reported that Chelsea have their eyes on the winger, and price would not be an issue for the Blues.

No official bids have been reported as of yet, but with Chelsea’s league results far from as desired, it wouldn’t be a surprise to see Arsenal’s London rivals spend big in the window to improve their squad.

If Arsenal are to cement themselves as a side ready to challenge for the title, winning the signature of Mudryk would be a statement to others that we are ready to spend in the market to bring in reinforcements.
