It’s time to vote for your March goal of the month, there are nine candidates for the prize spanning across the men’s, women’s, and youth teams.
It was a strong month for the men’s team, sitting top of the Premier League and winning four out of four Premier League games in March.
Candidates from the men’s team include Bukayo Saka’s strike against Everton, Martin Odegaard’s clever move and finish against Fulham and who could forget, Reiss Nelson’s match-winning strike against Bournemouth.
Our women’s team had a memorable month also, winning the Conti Cup at Selhurst Park and dramatically making the last four of the Champions League.
Frida Maanum hit an unforgettable strike against Bayern Munich in the second leg of the Champions League quarter final.
It’s always a pleasure to beat Tottenham, and the women did just that, winning 1-5 away from home, two goal nominations come from that fixture; Stina Blackstenius’s tricky finish and Caitlin Foord’s strike from distance.
Jack Wilshere’s U-18’s side have a critical game in their season coming up this evening. The academy stars are in action in the FA Youth Cup semi-final this evening against Manchester City.
Three of the goals from the impressive side have been nominated for goal of the month, including Omari Benjamin’s clever finish against West Brom, and two efforts from Osman Kamara with his goals against Crystal Palace and Tottenham.
All of the impressive goals can be viewed on the club’s official website, where the voting also takes place – let’s hope for more success across all of our team’s for the remainder of the season.
