ARSENAL are considering a shock swoop for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin, according to reports.
The Premier League table toppers currently only have two out-and-out strikers in Gabriel Jesus and standby Eddie Nketiah.
However, both players have suffered injuries this season, consequently leaving the Spaniard short in attack.
While January signing Leandro Trossard has impressed as a False No9 and can also lead the line if required, Arsenal boss Mikel Arteat is keen to add another natural striker to his ranks.
According reports Calvert-Lewin has emerged as a target with the North Londoners hoping that the 26-year-old will be available for a reduced price come the end of the season, especially if Everton are relegated to the Championship.
Arteta is believed to be an admirer of the striker and he is keen for the club to launch a bid when the summer transfer window opens.
