Arsenal starlet Ethan Nwaneri has underlined his red hot form to boss Mikel Arteta.

The talented teen scored for England U17s to help send the talented teens into the knockout stages of their Euro jamboree.

Nwaneri came on for Arsenal during the 6-0 rout of West Ham at the London Stadium back in February, to add to his frist team debut the season before aged only 15, as the Gunners beat Brentford 3-0 in September, 2022.

Gunners young gun Nwaneri netted the third and final goal of England’s 3-1 win over Spain in the UEFA U17 European Championship on Monday, sending the Young Lions through to the quarter-final - reminding Arteta that he is ready for further Premier League action next season.

Chelsea's Shim Mheuka opened the scoring for England in the sixth minute, but Spain levelled through Real Valladollid's Adrián Arnuncio Baquerín

Tottenham's Mikey Moore made it 2-1 to England on 77 minutes prior to Arsenal hotshot Nwaneri grabbing a third eight minutes later - scoring after steering ball into the bottom corner after going one-on-one with the goalkeeper to grab his second goal of the competition.

Nwaneri's England will now face Italy in the quarter-final on Thursday, (May 30) with kick-off at 630pm.

Chido Martin-Obi is also in the quarters with Denmark, who meet Czechia at 330pm this afternoon (Wednesday, May 29.)
