Arsenal have received a boost in their pursuit of West Ham's £40m England star Jarrod Bowen.
Arsenal are still on the hunt for a new winger, with the Irons Three Lions star high on the agenda.
According to reports the Gunners have held a meeting with the former Hull City player's representatives over a possible move to North London.
Bowen is a left-footed right-winger - something that greatly appeals to Arteta who wants to replace Nicolas Pepe.
The versatile Bowen would also offer options on the right and even throught the middle - as well as offering a threat in and around the box after impressing at the London Stadium since joining from the Tigers in 2020.
His fee of around £40m would not put suitors Arsenal off either.
And with news emerging that West Ham are reportedly lining up a move for Rennes' Martin Terrier as Jarrod's replacement, Arsenal are in pole position to land the highly-rated England star.
In other news Pablo Mari is reportedly close to joining Turkish giants Fenerbahce.
Habel Global claims the defender is surplus to requirements at Arsenal - however it is unclear whether the move would be a loan or a permanent deal.
The mooted deal would see Mari reunited with boss Jorge Jesus after their time together at Flamengo.
