Arsenal right-back Emily Fox has returned to training after picking up an injury in the USA's extra-time quarter-final win over Japan at the Olympics.

Fox limped off with what appeared to be a knee issue in the 119th minute of a 1-0 win over Japan on Saturday.

The 26-year-old was in tears as she was substituted, unable to walk without assistance.

However, USWNT boss Emma Hayes confirmed that every player would train this afternoon (Monday, August 5), including Arsenal's Fox.

The USA take on Germany on Tuesday for a place in the final of the 2024 Olympic Games.

Two Arsenal players could feature in the other semi-final, with Mariona Caldentey and Laia Codina's Spain facing off with Brazil.
