Arsenal set to turn to long-term transfer target Tielemans

Arsenal consider late offer for Youri Tielemans

The Leicester midfielder is not interested in staying at the King Power and would jump at the chance of joining the Premier League leaders.

The Belgium international has been a long-term transfer target for the Gunners, but the North Londoners and the Foxes failed to come to an agreement last summer - leading to Tielemans running down the final year of his deal, knowing there will be plenty of suitors for him as a free agent.

However Arsenal's late pursuit of Brighton's Moises Caicedo has stalled, leading to Mikel Areta and Edu turning their attentions back to Tielemans.

The 25-year-old has turned down all offers of a new deal at the King Power Stadium - with a deal now purely depending on how much Arsenal offer today.
