Arsenal have stepped up their chase of Brazilian wonderkid Vitor Roque, with reports claiming a meeting has taken place between the club and his representatives.
According to Globo Esporte, Gunners officials met with Roque's agents and father in London this week, as they look to push ahead with a move for the striker.
The 18-year-old is regarded as one of the world football's most promising young talents, with his club Athletico Paranaense slapping a £42m price tag on him.
Barcelona and Manchester United are also said to be interested, but Arsenal will hope their early efforts to secure a deal pay off.
Having joined Athletico Paranaense from Cruzeiro last year, Roque already has 18 goals in 63 professional games, an impressive tally for a player who doesn't turn until early 2025.
