Arsenal are set to battle two of their Premier League rivals in a bid to sign Brighton star Alexis Mac Allister.
The Gunners are eyeing a move for the Argentine World Cup winner, with South American journalist César Luis Merlo claiming there is "concrete interest" in the midfielder.
But, Mikel Arteta could face competition from Manchester United and Liverpool, who are also in the race for his signature.
Mac Allister has shone for Brighton this, scoring 10 goals in 28 appearances across all competitions, and he played a key role as Argentina won their first World Cup since 1986 in Qatar.
Arsenal have also been linked with a move for his Brighton team-mate Moises Caicedo, with two bids as high as £70m rejected in January.
Should Mac Allister make the move to the Emirates, he would follow Ben White and Leandro Trossard, who made their moves from the south coast club in 2021 and 2023, respectively.
