season in North London.
Lacasse has joined North American Women’s Soccer League (NWSL) side Utah Royals on a three-year deal as she bids for more regular football.
The Canada international made 28 appearances in all competitions in 2023/24, scoring five goals for Arsenal.
“Although my time at Arsenal was short, it was filled with memorable moments, thanks to the incredible teammates, staff and fans,” said Lacasse.
“I’m grateful for the experience and will always carry with me the memory of scoring in front of you all at a sold-out Emirates Stadium. I wish the team, the club and all you Gooners the very best moving forward.”
Arsenal signed Sweden forward Rosa Kafaji on Tuesday, adding to a summer window that has also brought goalkeeper Daphne van Domselaar and attacker Mariona Caldentey to the club.
Jonas Eidevall will have the likes of Beth Mead, Caitlin Foord, Lina Hurtig, Caldentey and Kafaji to choose from out wide this season.
Understand Cloé Lacasse’s decision to move on considering the amount of options Arsenal have at their disposal out wide. A player capable of magic on her day who didn’t do much wrong for Arsenal, but sometimes strong teams have to let strong players go.https://t.co/5Am7VvmQBJ
