Arsenal Women have been drawn into Group D of the Continental Tyres League Cup, joining WSL rivals Bristol City and Tottenham Hotspur and Championship sides Reading and Southampton.
After Arsenal's exit from the UEFA Champion's League, a draw was conducted today to decide which group the Gunners would be placed into. Dates, venues and kick-off times for the fixtures will all be confirmed in due course.
Arsenal will play two games at home and two away in the group stage, which are yet to be decided.
Arsenal beat Chelsea in last season's Conti Cup final at Selhurst Park after wins against Aston Villa and Manchester City in the knockout stages.
Due to the Gunners' involvement in the Champions League, Jonas Eidevall's side did not take part in the Group Stage, but will have to do so this year after defeat to Paris FC in Sweden.
North London rivals Tottenham have never beaten Arsenal in league or cup football, whilst Bristol City were promoted back to the WSL at the end of last season. Reading were relegated to the second tier and have since turned semi-professional.
Southampton manager Marianne Spacey-Cale enjoyed two spells with Arsenal, spending eight years with the club under Vic Akers.
