Record breaking numbers of supporters have followed Arsenal Women home and away in recent times and fans are now being encouraged to make their voices heard on topics such as ticketing, pricing, matchday experience, access and community projects specifically related to the Women’s team.

In a statement, Arsenal say the club is “so proud of the support we receive from our fanbase and we recognise the importance of working closely with our supporters to optimise the experience for all.”

Head of Women’s Football Clare Wheatley believes “With confirmed plans to play five WSL matches at Emirates Stadium this season alongside matches at Meadow Park, it’s crucial that we continue to work closely with our valued supporters to ensure that we are able to deliver the best possible experience for all. The Arsenal Women Matchday Forum will provide our supporters with a space in which to ask questions, raise issues and work with us as we continue to move forward together.”

Fans can apply to be a part of the forum by filling out this form by 5pm on Thursday July 6. Arsenal will then select a group of representatives with a view to reflecting the community of supporters that get behind the Gunners every week.

Arsenal’s intentions to listen and learn from their supporters come at a crucial time for the women’s game, where crowd numbers and viewing figures are rising astronomically. A long-term move from Meadow Park to the Emirates, with a minimum of five games at Emirates Stadium for Arsenal Women in 2023/24, means that fans are keen to make sure that the raucous atmosphere of Meadow Park can be preserved at the 60,000 seater Emirates, and subjects such as dedicated away ends are always a talking point in the WSL.

Arsenal have already carried out previous surveys about the experiences of supporters at the Emirates Stadium, and fans will now be able to have more of an involvement across multiple areas of the club.
