Tonight’s FA Women's Continental Tyres League Cup quarter-final away to London City Lionesses has been postponed due to a waterlogged pitch.

London City Lionesses' statement said: "Following substantial and unprecedented rainfall in the area over the past 24 hours, it was agreed between both clubs that a pitch inspection would be carried out at 2.30pm today."

The final decision was made by match officials following a 2:30pm pitch inspection at Princes Park. The officials deemed the playing surface to be unsafe.

A rearranged date for the fixture will be communicated in due course.

Ticket holders will be contacted directly by London City Lionesses.

Arsenal's next game is against Manchester City on Sunday, in the FA Cup fifth round.
