Beth Mead has won the BBC Sports Personality of the Year Award for 2022.
The Arsenal and England star lifted the prestigious title after playing a major part in guiding the Lionessess to European Championship glory over the summer.
The Whitby-born 27-year-old was the top scorer in the tournament that saw Sarina Wiegman's side land the honour of the best team in Europe after beating Germany 2-1 after a never-to-be-forgotten final at Wembley in July.
