Arsenal Women will play five Women’s Super League matches at Emirates Stadium in the 2023/24 season, up from three in N5 this year. The Gunners faced Tottenham, Manchester United and Chelsea at the Emirates earlier this season, with all three games taking place in front of over 40,000 spectators.

Should Arsenal qualify for the group stage of the UEFA Women’s Champions League, all of their home games will also be played at the Emirates, continuing on from the success of this season, where the Gunners sold out the 60,000 capacity stadium for their Champions League semi final second leg against Wolfsburg.

Arsenal CEO, Vinai Venkatesham said: “We’re delighted to confirm that our women’s first team will play five WSL games at Emirates Stadium next season.

“We’ve received fantastic support at Emirates Stadium this year, setting a new record attendance in the WSL and achieving a memorable sell-out for our recent UEFA Women’s Champions League semi-final against Wolfsburg earlier this month.

“It’s wonderful to see the support for the team at Emirates Stadium, Meadow Park and on the road week in, week out.  This latest announcement ensures that as many supporters as possible can enjoy the matchday experience with us, as we continue to support the sustainable growth of women’s football.”

Arsenal have also announced that they will be offering five game packages for fans to secure their places at each one of the five WSL games at the Emirates, with more information about season tickets to be “communicated at due course”.

Brighton & Hove Albion host Arsenal Women tonight at 7:30pm, with a full live blog to come here on the Gooner Fanzine website.
