Champions League draw: Arsenal discover their eight opponents
Find out who Arsenal will face in the Champions League
The draw for this season’s Champions League league phase has taken place.
The eagerly-awaited draw has handed the Gunners matches against Inter Milan, Paris Saint-Germain, Atalanta, Shakhtar Donetsk, Dinamo Zagreb, Sporting Lisbon, Monaco and Girona.
The new 36-team format of the competition means Mikel Arteta's side will no longer play all these opponents home and away.
This means the Gunners will be hosting PSG, Shakhtar, Zagreb and Monaco at the Emirates.
The draw will also see Arsenal travel to Inter Milan, Atalanta, Lisbon and Girona.
The exact order of matches, dates and kick-off times will be announced on Saturday.
FYI: The capacity of Girona’s ground Estadi Montilivi is a maximum 14,624. UEFA have already confirmed the stadium will host Champions League matches this season…
