Gabriel Jesus and Gabriel Martinelli have been selected for Brazil’s 2022 World Cup squad.
The pair has been in excellent form to power Arsenal to the top of the Premier League table to make their country's prestigious Selecao, as Brazil aim to bring home the trophy for the first time in 20 years.
The duo have been included in Tite’s 26-man shortlist heading to Qatar to try and win the competition for the sixth time, with Jesus heading to his second World Cup.
The former Manchester City attacker started all five of Brazil’s games in 2018 in Russia before they were knocked-out by Belgium in the quarter-finals. He currently has 56 caps since his debut in 2016, and has scored 18 goals during that time, helping them to win the 2019 Copa America.
However, Arsenal centre-back Gabriel did not make the cut - with the positive side being that the Gunners defender will have a good rest over the next six weeks.
