Could Arsenal be set to land a £40m rated star on a free transfer.
Reports are suggesting that long-term Arsenal target Youri Tielemans will now remain at the King Power Stadium until his contract expires next summer - meaning that the Gunners could snap up the talented star without paying a penny.
Earlier this summer, Tielemans appeared to be a top target for Mikel Arteta - with the expectation being that the 25-year-old would sign on the dotted line for the North London giants well before the start of the new season.
However, that has not been the case, with both sides yet to come to an agreement.
Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers is set to hold talks with the former Monaco and Anderlect midfielder over the coming days.
And if no deal comes from their summit talks, there is the real possibility the Belgium international could run down his contract until it expires in the summer of 2023 - leaving Arsenal in pole position to sign the start without paying a penny for his services this time next year.
