A much better second half for the Gunners, who took the lead through a stunning goal from Vivianne Miedema before Caitlin Foord made it two. 11 trips to face Liverpool, 11 wins for Arsenal.

In the other WSL fixtures this weekend, Chelsea beat Brighton 3-0 yesterday evening. Today, Manchester United won 2-1 against Aston Villa, Everton lost 1-0 at home to Leicester, whilst Bristol City were beaten 2-1 by West Ham as the Robins dropped into the relegation zone. Spurs lost 2-0 to Manchester City at Brisbane Road.
Arsenal beat Reading 6-0 in midweek to progress through to the quarter-finals of the Conti Cup as group winners. Stina Blackstenius hit a hat-trick, with Laia Codina, Beth Mead and Caitlin Foord all on the scoresheet.
Jonas Eidevall is intently watching Liverpool warm up, back turned on his own side's training.

Leah Williamson and Kim Little both returned from injuries of varying lengths in midweek as Arsenal beat Reading 6-0. Jonas Eidevall revealed nothing when asked if Williamson would start today.
Team news is less than 10 minutes away. Arsenal will be without Lina Hurtig, Laura Wienroither and Teyah Goldie, but aside from those absences the Gunners have a full squad to choose from.
Both sides and their supporters have arrived in Tranmere, with Arsenal selling out their away allocation.
